ACTIVITIES

"Cool" Consultative meeting of Agency for the Support of Civil Society with the leadership of Youth Organizations of Tirana

Tirana, 29 January 2015

The Agency for the Support of Civil Society (ASCS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Youth, and the Center for Protection of Child Rights, as well, organized a consultative meeting with the Youth leadership of Tirana, in which are 31 youth organizations and 4 youth political forums.

The meeting was held at the offices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Youth.

Participants at the meeting and particularly, the just founded organizations, discussed about the problems and difficulties they encounter during their work. They submitted to the ASCS representatives, a number of suggestions, which would help them to have some facilities, to be successful with their Project-Proposals at the next call.

The issues, that were discussed during this meeting, were mainly connected with the facilitation of the administrative and fiscal procedures in general, and mainly the prioritizing of a definite percentage of the grant, addressing specifically to youth organizations in ASCS future calls.

The Participants, also, raised a number of technical questions regarding the application process, which were explained and clarified by the representatives of the ASCS, present in the meeting.

At the close of the meeting, the participants thanked the organizers and considered the meeting as a very important one, which will help to strengthen the bridges of cooperation and communication between the ASCS and Youth Organizations.
